ECONET Store is a platform that the organisation provides to the farmers, artisans, home based chefs, women entrepreneurs, women SHGs, handmade jewelry makers, tailors, honey collectors, artists, etc who represent the NT & DNT and tribal culture and uniqueness in their products. Youth, women and farmers located in the 19 districts ECONET works in, and are involved in and/or deeply connected with the
social change work undertaken on the ground are the primary & preferential users of the ECONET Store. This platform aims to connect the rural and remotely located entrepreneurs and traders from the NT & DNT and tribal background with the market and directly with the potential customers or inquisitive & trendy users of “desi” “mitti ka swad” “apni pehchan” “apana van-dhan”. ECONET Store allows the first timers in the world of trade & business to showcase their products – organic honey, trendy pickles, millets, varieties of rice, pulses, dry fruits, dried vegetables, wild roots, healthy raagi, mahua ladoos, cane baskets, bamboo broom, papdam, banana flour, biscuits, nomad embroidery, bags, pouches, candles, organic soaps, tribal artifacts & paintings, and so on. The collection of funds through the sale of products/items on the ECONET Store goes back to the producer/maker and artist. ECONET Store is also a donation seeking platform for the organisation. Hence, those want to experiment in the market with their unique products and indigenous taste, ECONET Store is an ideal platform. Currently, ECONET Store is not active.
